restaurant Logo & Branding Design

Opening a restaurant can be overwhelming, what we try to provide is more than a design package, we try to create a respite from all of the other more stressful aspects the owners may be going through.

For this project we were involved even before the name of the restaurant was chosen, it was a long but very fun process to get to a place we agreed would be the right direction.

Watercolor Bee

The owner wanted to convey a personal touch with the marketing. The restaurant is an intimate setting in a small town. We decided on a watercolor representation of the “Abeja” to convey that.

The cards were a comedic play on book definitions, instead of showing only the English word or Spanish definition, we married the two in hopes to invoke a giggle and make it memorable.

Watermarks

The design was implemented in multiple ways, including shirts and marketing materials as well as a watermark on the menus and in other cases (Shown below) as a little bee in the bottom of the menus.

Brunch

As the most item intensive menu for the restaurant, a straight down list was decided on to “speed things along” for so many choices

special events

Different fonts and layouts were used to keep everything on one page for a limited menu on nights like new years and Christmas eve.

Lunch

More design aspects were introduced to the lunch menu to fill the space as there are fewer items on the menu.

Social media Video

We made a small video flyer to post on the restaurants instagram page. It’s meant to be seen on a cell phone.
